Indianight 2010 in Salt Lake City

Indianight is the biggest Indian cultural showcase in the Salt Lake Valley, organised annually by the Indian Students at the University of Utah.

Indianight gets an audience of about 800 every year and involves students, families and the working group from Indian and foreign origins. They have dance and music performances in the classical, folk and bollywood categories.

This year the event is on April 3, 2010 at the University of Utah. Auditions for which will be conducted on Feb 27th, 2010. Everyone is welcome to perform and watch, the tickets are about $15 and that price includes dinner.

Performers need to go through a short informal audition in February just so that the organisers know who is going on stage.

Indianight welcomes lots of performers and volunteers to help make this year's event a huge success, as they say "it is as much fun working backstage as you would on stage."
